The cabins are located in a secluded area, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Big Piney River.

Located just 1.8 miles off Interstate 44!

Just 6 miles from the front gate of Fort Leonard Wood! And just 3/4 mile from Hooker Cut

Fully equipped kitchens, just bring your food, or there are many fine restaurants within 2 to 5 miles.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Download, sign and bring our waiver
  • Food, meat and produce, canned goods, soft drinks, snacks, etc.
  • You will want Charcoal and lighter fluid for grilling. Grills are furnished for each cabin.
  • Beach towels and life jackets are a must.
  • Also innertubes, rafts, etc. for the kids.
  • Fishing poles and tackle.
  • Lawn chairs or old blanket to sit on at the river. There are plastic chairs outside at each cabin for enjoying the evenings but as of now no seating at the river.
  • Don’t forget the sunscreen!
  • If you are going to be in a one room cabin, and have children, bring a sleeping bag.
  • If your stay is longer than 3 days, you will need to bring your own towels and bed linens.
  • Don’t forget that book you’ve been meaning to read.
  • Board Games for the children; basic cable TV is available but there is no cartoon channel.)

    We do not have these canoes, rafts, fising poles ect. for rent or sale. There is a outfitter just a few miles from the cabins where you can enjoy a float trip or a guided fishing tour on the Big Piney, call Lay Z Day at 573-336-8639 for more information or visit their website, by clicking on their name.
    Sorry there are no phones in the cabins.

    All rentals will have the following provided:
  • Air Conditioning
  • basic cable TV  (no cartoon channel-so throw in some board games for the evenings),
  • coffee pot
  • can opener
  • microwave
  • dishes
  • pans
  • skillets
  • utensils.
  • Towels (provided for 4 persons only)
  • sheets
  • pillowcases
  • pillows
  • blankets

    We will have the cabins clean for your arrival. We look forward to your visit. Check in time is from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (if you are not able to arrive by 5:00 PM please let us know in advance) with check out on or before 11:00 AM.
